Blackburn Rovers continued their recent poor form as they were beaten by playoff chasing Middlesbrough 0-1.
The only goal of the game came in the 1st half through danger man Brit Assombalonga who also scored in the reverse fixture.
Rovers were dealt another blow as they were reduced to 10 after Derrick Williams received a straight red card on a challenge on Ashley Fletcher.
Rovers dug deep in the 2nd half and seem to perform much better with a man less on the field. In fact Rovers has two golden opportunities to level as both Bradley Dack and Danny Graham had great opportunities to score.
Rovers will hope this torrid run will end next time as they kick on towards Birmingham at St Andrews.
In this video we hear what Tony Mowbray thoughts about the match, catch visiting supporter John Gaunt’s take on the result, plus match stats, heat maps and more.
