Middlesbrough vs Blackburn Rovers (1-1) – Match Review

Blackburn Rovers failed to take advantage of 10 man Middlesbrough, and had to settle for a point at the Riverside. 1-1 was the final score with Mo Besic the man sent off for a shirt pull on Bradley Dack.

Captain Charlie Mulgrew scored from the resulting free kick to give Rovers the lead, however Blackburn were denied all 3 points, after Britt Assombalonga long range striker gave Middlesbrough a share of the points.
